NFC or Tapping is Not Working
Works with: Nearly all Android phones and iPhones 7+.
✅ Quick Checks
-
Remove metal cases (non-metal is fine).
-
Receiving phone must be unlocked & awake.
-
Tap in the right spot:
-
iPhone: top ¼ of device.
-
Android: middle/back.
-
-
If still not working → scan QR code on product.
📱 iPhone
-
XS/XR or newer: NFC always on, banner shows at top.
-
Older models (with latest iOS): Pull up NFC Reader in Control Center → then tap.
🤖 Android
-
Turn on NFC: Settings → Connections / Bluetooth & device connection → NFC → On.
-
Antenna location varies → move tag slowly until it reads.
🔧 If Still Not Working
-
Verify product is activated → check assignment in Linq app.
-
Test another phone → rules out device issue.
-
Clear App Clip cache (iPhone only):
-
Delete Linq app → tap again.
-
If preview still wrong → Settings → App Clips → Remove all → tap again.
-
Reinstall Linq app if needed.
-
💡 Tips
-
Search “NFC” in Android settings if you can’t find it.
-
Tap slowly/steadily vs quick taps.
-
Avoid magnets or metal wallet cases when tapping.
📩 If contacting Support, include:
