What is Linq Blue?

What is Linq Blue?

Linq Blue allows you to send iMessages (blue-bubble messages) from your CRM instead of traditional SMS.

Based on analysis of Linq user data, Linq Blue users see 86–116% more replies compared to SMS campaigns.

Key context:

  • iMessage has been in use on iPhone since 2011.

  • iMessage supports media (photos, video, audio), typing indicators, read receipts, and other features that standard SMS does not.

  • SMS is constrained by the original protocol and A2P 10DLC requirements, including mandatory opt-out language such as “Text STOP to stop.”

Linq Blue provides:

  • An iMessage channel that can connect to supported CRMs.

  • A way to keep business conversations inside a system of record (CRM or Linq app) instead of a personal Messages app.

What Linq Blue Includes

1. iMessage Channel

  • Send and receive iMessages that support:

    • Text

    • Images

    • Video

    • Audio / voice memos

  • Use Linq Blue from:

    • iPhone / iPad

    • macOS

    • Android (via CRM or Linq app workflows)

    • Web / desktop CRM environments

To recipients on iPhone, messages appear as standard blue-bubble conversations.

2. CRM-Connected Messaging

Linq Blue connects iMessage conversations to supported systems:

  • Can be used inside GoHighLevel, Salesforce, HubSpot, and additional CRMs.

  • Messages can be sent from:

    • Pipelines and deal stages

    • Automation workflows

    • Status changes and tasks (depending on CRM configuration)

  • Conversations can be viewed alongside:

    • Contact records

    • Notes, tags, and deal information

If you do not use a legacy CRM, Linq Blue can be used with the Linq app, which provides contact and conversation management.

3. AI & Automation (Where Supported)

Depending on the CRM and configuration:

  • Linq Blue can work with AI tools to:

    • Suggest replies

    • Summarize conversations

    • Transcribe calls when combined with supported voice features

Integrations

Linq Blue integrates with:

  • GoHighLevel (GHL)

  • Salesforce

  • HubSpot

  • Additional CRMs and tools via one-way sync or logging (e.g., Zoho, ActiveCampaign, Pipedrive, Zapier, and others).

  • Can be used for infrastructure

Integration Notes

  • GoHighLevel

    • Linq Blue can be set as a messaging provider.

    • Workflow features work with Linq Blue when it is configured as the default provider.

  • HubSpot

    • Requires a paid HubSpot service seat.

    • Supports sending and logging messages against contacts.

  • Salesforce

    • Requires Lightning or Enterprise edition and the Lightning UI.

    • Messages can be logged on contact/lead records.

Compliance & Do Not Disturb (DND)

  • Linq Blue operates in the peer-to-peer (P2P) messaging space and does not rely on 10DLC registration for iMessage delivery.

  • Linq Blue does not require “Text STOP to stop” language in each message.

  • Linq Blue respects Do Not Disturb (DND) flags in supported CRMs:

    • If a contact is marked as DND in GoHighLevel, Linq Blue will not send messages to that contact.

If a CRM displays A2P-related warnings, those typically apply to its built-in SMS provider, not to Linq Blue.
