How do I turn off "Overridden by Linq Phone"?

If you’re trying to edit your phone number on your Linq page but see that it’s “Overridden by Linq Phone”, don’t worry. This simply means that your LinQ phone number is set as the primary contact being shared. You can easily turn this off to update your own phone number.

Steps to Turn Off the Override

1. Open the Linq App

   Launch the Linq app on your phone.

2. Go to the Phone Tab

   From the bottom menu, tap on the Phone tab.

3. Open Phone Settings

   • Tap the three dots (…) in the top left corner.
   • Select Settings.

4. Find the Primary Contact Option

   Scroll down until you see “Make this my primary contact when shared.”

5. Toggle It Off

   Switch the toggle OFF. This will remove Linq Phone as the default and let you edit your phone number directly.

What This Means

• When the option is ON: Your Linq Phone number is automatically used when sharing your profile, and you won’t be able to edit it.
• When the option is OFF: You can freely update and share your personal phone number from your profile.
