How are the Linq NFC products programmed? How is the data on the card protected from being overwritten by someone?
Linq's NFC chips + their programming
Our cards are programmed via NFC and can only be used with Linq accounts. We use special UUID's so that these cards can only be activated and used with the Linq app. While a Linq product user can rewrite the programming, that's not a feature we offer, and once a product is activated to the Linq App, it cannot be rewritten (so there's no security risk involved).
