👀 Overview of Sync Settings
The Linq ↔ HubSpot integration provides two-way synchronization between your CRM and Linq activity. This ensures your contacts, calls, SMS, and email interactions stay perfectly aligned between both platforms.
When your HubSpot connection shows Status: ACTIVE, Linq automatically keeps all enabled sync channels up to date.
⚙️ Main Sync Options
Each option under Sync determines which data types flow between Linq and HubSpot.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
2-Way Sync Contact Details | Keeps contact fields (name, phone, email, company, etc.) identical between Linq and HubSpot. Changes in one platform update the other automatically. |
Sync Contacts | Pushes new contacts collected in Linq (e.g., via Lead Forms, page scans) to HubSpot. Also pulls HubSpot contacts into Linq when applicable. |
Sync Calls and Voicemails | Logs all calls and voicemail events in HubSpot, attaching them to the correct contact record. |
Sync SMS Messages | Adds inbound and outbound SMS messages as activities within HubSpot contact timelines. |
Sync Email Messages | Captures Linq-sent or received emails and displays them in HubSpot as logged communications. |
⚡ Advanced Sync Settings
Use the Advanced Sync Settings panel on the right to refine what’s logged in HubSpot.
Option | What It Does |
---|---|
Log calls and texts against deals | When a contact is tied to an active deal, calls and texts appear under that deal’s activity timeline. |
Add call recording links to Call details | Embeds a direct playback link to each recorded call within HubSpot’s call record. |
Log outgoing answered calls | Automatically logs outbound calls that connect successfully. |
Log outgoing unanswered calls | Logs missed or declined outbound calls for audit visibility. |
Log incoming answered calls | Logs inbound calls you or your team answered. |
Log incoming unanswered calls | Logs missed incoming calls, helping track customer responsiveness. |
Log outgoing voicemails | Records when a voicemail was left on a contact’s number. |
Log incoming SMS / outgoing SMS | Syncs all text conversations to the HubSpot activity feed. |
Log email open events | Adds open tracking metrics for emails sent via Linq, showing when recipients engage. |
💡 Tip: You can toggle each setting individually to fine-tune which events appear in HubSpot.
🗑️ Deleting the Integration
Selecting Delete Integration immediately disables the connection and all workflows dependent on it.
⚠️ Warning: This action is irreversible. Any HubSpot automations using Linq data will stop running until the integration is re-established.
💡 Tip
If you ever disconnect HubSpot and reconnect later, Linq will automatically re-sync your most recent data to ensure your CRM stays aligned.
